Working together by teaching and establishing mutual respect

Share Information and Be a Teacher

At Apex Law, one of our culture statements is: Share Information and Be a Teacher

“We are open and collaborative. Outside of professional responsibilities, make sure that you share information with the team and the public. When you share, is there a teachable moment there as well?”

Thoughts by Ana:

I interpreted this to be geared towards team and community-building and the ways in which we not only build trust and support amongst ourselves but also the people we work with and for. By sharing information openly, we foster a culture of transparency and mutual respect. This openness doesn’t just benefit the team internally, but extends to our interactions with clients, stakeholders, and the broader community.

When we share knowledge and insights—whether it’s a best practice, a helpful resource, or a personal experience—we create opportunities for others to learn and grow. These moments may seem small but have the power to shape the way others approach their work or challenges. As we embrace this value, we don’t just pass along facts; we teach, inspire, and build stronger connections. In doing so, we contribute to a culture of continuous learning and collaboration, where every interaction can be an opportunity to share and teach something valuable.
