Episode 21: Non-Disclosure Agreements

by

This week, Alexander and Peter take a look at the first step in most business relationships— signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement, also known as an NDA. Having a written NDA is significant in order to protect you, your company, and the inner workings of your company.

NDAs can be used for a variety of reasons, like if someone is going to invest in your company, if you need to protect important pieces of information such as trade secrets, or if there’s a need to keep your own intellectual property secure.

What is the difference between a mutual NDA versus unilateral NDA? In what instance should you use each? What are the general exceptions to confidentiality? How should you deal with a situation in which someone breaches a signed NDA? Listen to today’s podcast to learn more.
