Of Counsel to Apex Law, Brian Howe previously founded Vox Legal, PLLC, a firm that limits its’ practice to social ventures with a special focus on counseling hybrid entities, nonprofits with earned income strategies, B Corps, L3Cs, and other “triple-bottom line” or sustainable companies.Brian is currently the managing director of Hub Seattle, a platform for accelerating social innovation through providing shared workspaces, events, and access to resources, mentors, and financing for Seattle social ventures. In addition he serves on a variety of local boards, including the nonprofits Net Impact Seattle and Arts Aftercare. He is an adjunct professor at Seattle University School of Law and Northwest Graduate University.
Brian graduated with high honors from Seattle University School of Law where he was a teaching assistant in the #1 ranked legal writing program (U.S. News & World Report’s 2010 edition) and a Washington State Scholar (given to top 1% of entering students) with a focus in Business Law.
